BullCharts already has a Heikin-Ashi Candlestick indicator that you can add to a chart.

Although the various built-in candlestick-pattern scans and indicators don't have the option of scanning on Heikin-Ashi candlesticks, you can make your own:

1. Quit BullCharts
2. Go to C:\Program Files\BullSystems\BullCharts\Functions
3. Pick a useful-looking candlestick pattern
4. Copy the file you've chosen to C:\Program Files\BullSystems\BullCharts\CustomIndicators (rename it so it doesn't conflict with the built-in function).
5. Edit the file with your favourite text editor (say, Notepad) changing the alias and the actual calculation to use the Heikin-Ashi OHLC calculations instead of BullCharts' built-in OHLC values
6. Restart BullCharts and test out your new candlestick pattern detector.
