I was wondering if someone could pad out this idea. I was at a trade show and came across some software that purportedly can find when the big boys are buying in with their big trades.
I think it looks for trades of large amounts in one go
We have volume, number of trades and value traded available to us. What about an indicator that could use this info.
If value of trades is larger than the number of trades compared to the immediate past, would that not tell us that some big trades are going through. I'm not sure how volume could come into this.
I thought it might warn us of buying in at the bottom of a downtrend or sideways area.
Then again if there are heaps of trades perhaps this could be bot trading.
Any thoughts someone.
