How to use auto trendline for charts?

Steps to add auto-trendline:
  1. Open the Insert menu and select Indicator
  2. Select the "Trendline -Zig Zag" indicator
  3. Press Finish
The Trendline ZigZag indicator uses the ZigZag indicator to locate peaks and troughs.

If the last peak is lower than the second last peak then a downsloping trendline is drawn through the peaks. And if the last trough is higher than the second last trough then an upsloping trendline is drawn through the troughs. (Note: The indicator will not always be able to find a suitable trendline)

Also, if you open the properties for the indicator and go to the style tab, then you can display the underlying zigzags.
