Well done developers

Just wondering within the scanning capabilities, can we scan for bullish flag patters?

cheers

Hi Kosmo,

BullCharts doesn't currently have a built-in mechanism to recognise geometric patterns suchs as flags and pennants.

However with a bit of creativity one could be designed using the BullScan criteria and maybe some script. For example, you could create a scan that looks for stocks that have risen by a certain percentage, then fallen slightly.

Alternatively, if you search on the Internet for MetaStock formulas you might find one for detecting flag patterns. The same formula can then be used in BullCharts (possibly with a few minor changes).

Try looking for three lower highs, where the last low is higher than previous low.

I would certainly be interested if you find anything from metastock land that helps in this regard.
