using swing chart question

   hi, when using gann swing charts i see an option under parametres to set bars from 1 to more....what does this actually do or change ect ? 
and can i overlay a  swing chart over my template candle chart?
any help here would be appreciated, thanks, fiesta62

	The Gann swing chart is constructed using the number of bars in the parameters tab. A 1 bar swing chart is too messy on a daily chart but looks good on a weekly chart. On the daily charts I use 2 bar swings as 3 bar swings ignore many smaller corrections. I prefer to see the swings as lines rather than steps (another option in the parameters tab). The style tab allows you to display a price plot (also check normal time) which can then be changed to candlesticks.

	hello peter....thanks for the info, i did a template candle with swing overlayed, i also tryed the line swing and it is good i might switch to that, i set my daily at 2 bar and weekly at 1 bar, as u suggested , all good so thanks very much for your info....one thing i spoke to a very highly regarded trader about swing charts he said swing charts have no time scale so are best viewed on there own, not over a candle chart, so not sure if i should be doing what i am with the overlay method, so also look at swing charts on there own, ok thanks, fiesta62
