Hi I'm trying to write a scan for the narrowest range of the last 7 days
A price bar with a smaller high-low range as compared to the others in the last 7 days
I can't seem to write this with the offerings of the scan criteria

Good scan Jalna

Select new scan and use Bullscript option.

H-L<hist(H-L,1) and H-L<hist(H-L,2) and H-L<hist(H-L,3) and H-L<hist(H-L,4) and H-L<hist(H-L,5) and H-L<hist(H-L,6)

I scan ASX300 looking for ones  with resistance areas which show rising OBV, Volume, Resistance level and or Pattern.
eg. CAB (resistance level), TAP, IFL, SKE (weekly flag). (18-09-2009)

Thanks Maximo. yes it sounds like a good scan. Do you wait for the breakout. I'm a bit sick of fake outs but having some success getting in early as long as i can watch the depth for a bit
ooh the market, the ever changing creature.
Then ther is the NR3 too

Yes, either wait for a breakout or a breakout from the breakout is even safer.  ie. it breaks out, retraces and buy above the breakout high.
