I am lernning about P&F charts. I was woundering In bull charts if i want a box size of 5 how do I put this in? (I don't understand the how bullcharts gets its figures in the Parameters Box)

any help would be appreciated

  1. Select the Point & Figure chart type
  2. After it has appeared, right click on one of the crosses or noughts.
  3. Select Point Figure Properties
  4. Click on the Parameters tab
  5. Highlight the existing box size
  6. Type 5
  7. Press OK

Note: 5 is a very large box size, and won't work for most securities. If you mean 5 cents, then use 0.05

The default box size is calculated as 2% of the midpoint of the range as recommended by Colin Nicholson in the Securities Institute of Australia E171 course.
