BullCharts has a number of keyboard shortcuts, or hotkeys, that can speed up your analysis tasks. It's well worth spending a few minutes to learn how to more efficient complete tasks that you're doing every day.

Here's a list of some of the more useful hotkeys. Check the manual for more. Where a shortcut is written as Key1+Key2, it means to hold down key1 and then press key2 while still holding the first one.
  • F1 - Open help, or if you're editing an indicator, searches help for the selected keyword.
  • F6 - Open/close the security manager
  • F8 - Open/close the scan manager
  • F7 - Maximise/minimise the current chart pane
  • F11 - Turn fullscreen on/off
  • +  - Zoom in on a chart
  • -   - Zoom out on a chart
  • Home - Go to the start of the chart history
  • End - Go to the end of the chart history
  • PageUp - Move back in the chart history
  • PageDown - Move forard in the chart history
  • Esc - Cancel the selected tool
  • O,H,L,C,V,S - Snap a linestudy to a plot
  • Ctrl+I - Insert an Indicator
  • Ctrl+S - Save a chart
  • Ctrl+O - Open a saved chart
  • Ctrl+P - Print the chart
  • Alt+Enter - Bring up properties for the selected item
Finally, remember the symbol overtype feature. This can be a huge timesaver.
